13U STARZ WIN MARYLAND AAU DII TOURNAMENT

The Baltimore Starz 13u team lead by coach Clarence Scott took home first place in the 2009 MD AAU division II tournament. The Starz defeated the Lady Lions 44-22, The Maryland Dream 57-30 and the Shooting Stars 35-29. The Starz will represent the State of Maryland in the National tournament in July at the Disney Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida. Congrats, great job ladies!

STARZ 15U TAKE COPPER IN STATE TOURNAMENT

 

The Starz 15u team finished 4th in the 2009 MD AAU State tournament and took home the copper medals. The team finished 5-1 in the tournament and won all 3 pool games. For finishing 4th in the state the team has qualified for the national AAU division II tournament in Orlando, Florida. The team will travel to Florida and compete from July 5th thru the 10th. Great job ladies and good luck in Florida!  


The Baltimore Starz-Select is a non-profit, Baltimore city based organization that was created to help girls between the ages of 9-17 achieve excellence in life by promoting education and physical fitness. The Baltimore Starz is a girls basketball program that challenges our kids to succeed through competitive scheduling, hard work and following through with commitments. We strive to provide our girls with positive recreational activities in safe environments with plenty of instruction, encouragement and guidance both on and off the court.
